CVTC is committed to working with New York State colleges and universities to end sexual and relationship violence. Our Program offers a range of free services, including education, training, policy support, and comprehensive prevention and support services to campus communities to address these issues. We collaborate with students, staff, faculty, student organizations, and law enforcement to deliver in-person and remote programming and support.
Our goal is to partner with colleges and universities to effectively prevent and respond to sexual, domestic, and gender-based violence. Explore this Menu to learn more about the programs and how we can partner to create safer, healthier campus communities.
Let's start making a difference together!

Tabling
We want to help you spread the word to increase access to resources and raise awareness about how to create safer, healthier campus communities. One way we do this is through fun, interactive, and informative tabling events. With our beautiful pamphlets, top-tier swag, and engaging tools like our famous Sex Jeopardy Board, our promotion and outreach is sure to grab the attention of those who pass by!
Online & Social Media Campaigns
Using online and social media platforms has become an increasingly important strategy to meet students and survivors where they’re at. Let’s collaborate on a social media campaign, host an Instagram Live session, or create and share a series of posts to educate others about how they can access support, grow healthy relationships, and disrupt harmful social norms and behaviors.

We cannot do this work alone. Empowering community to build healthier relationships and work together to prevent and respond to sexual and relationship violence is a vital part of our mission. We do this, in part, through engaging and interactive trainings and workshops. We take extra care to ensure that our workshops are fun, supportive, and thought-provoking experiences that encourage students to learn and lead for change.
Workshops
Some of our most popular workshops include Masculinity 2.0, Speed Dating Ice Cream Social, Sex Jeopardy, Consent Taboo, and Relationship Pictionary. All of these provide interactive and creative avenues for learning in a way that makes these topics easy to talk about, educational, and fun.
Training
Our Prevention Program offers a variety of training options on issues related to sexual, domestic, and gender-based violence. Over the years, topics such as Sexual & Domestic Violence, How to Support Survivors, Working with LQBTQ+ Survivors/Communities, Engaging Men, and Bystander Intervention have been some of our most requested trainings. We can train Peer Educators, facilitate Trauma-Informed School Environment training for faculty and staff, or we can collaborate with you to design training for your specific needs. Our trainings facilitate meaningful discussions and provide quality content that equips participants with knowledge and skills to better prevent and respond to harm.

Our Prevention Program is dedicated to helping campuses comply with regulations for the prevention of, and response to, sexual and relationship violence in accordance with Federal Title IX Regulations and NY State Law 129b, also known as "Enough is Enough,", which funds our campus program.
We can help you implement proper training and strengthen referral policy and resources to better prevent and respond to violence on your campus. Making progress can be complicated, especially when you're working on issues related to harassment and assault, and we are here to support you and connect you to our resources and networks with relevant policy-related expertise.
We welcome collaborations with any students, staff, faculty, or student organization on these and many more important topics. Fill out this form to request training or to learn more about how we can partner toward our shared goal of a safer campus community!
